Kaye holds an MFA in creative writing from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts, specializing in short stories of fiction and creative nonfiction. She teaches short stories and novel writing at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. She has worked for over ten years as an editor and judge with Bacopa Literary Review international journal. Kaye is a prolific, award-winning writer in all genres.

Kaye has an international black belt in Tae Kwon Do and fifteen years of martial arts training under her "belt." Today she studies and teaches Hatha Yoga and practices a meditational lifestyle on her five-acre wild-life "sanctuary." Kaye says she has no choice but to write every day. "It is a compulsion. I write because of love for the art."
