Gail Forsyth

Gail Forsyth was born in North Dakota. The second of six siblings. She grew up in California with a multitude of pets that both her and her siblings enjoyed and cared for.

As a mother and grandmother, she has combined her love of books and reading with her love of kids and pets. The majority of her books are pet care activity books for children. She believes that anytime you can get a child to pick up a book and read, it is a worthwhile endeavor that will only enhance the child's reading skills. Her idea that if a child is interested in something, then give the child a book on that topic. She has won the Pinnacle Achievement Award for her book "A Day At The Zoo", which is a children's activity book for them to learn about wild animals.

Her latest series of books called "I Want A Pet..." engage the child in the care and training of their chosen pet with fun activities in the books. Many of

the chapters include the same information on training and pet care, which makes them ideal for siblings that if they are able to have different types of dogs in their family, they will learn the basics but still have fun with the breed specific information, personal pages and coloring pages, as no two books are alike.

Her wish is for every child to create the memories that a childhood pet will surely create.
