Paul Purington

Paul Purington is the Vice President of Consulting for Superior Consulting Services, LLC in Burnsville, Minnesota. He is also a partner in the company.

Paul grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Physical Science Education and went on to teach high school physics and computer science for several years. Paul's experience as an educator also includes being a computer software trainer.

Since 1995, Paul has been a software consultant. His first consulting gig required him to build some Microsoft Access 2.0 reports. He now designs and develops Business Intelligence solutions for clients that have databases containing many terabytes of data. It's amazing how things have changed over the years!

Paul and his family (wife Krissy, sons Jack and Ryan) live in the Minneapolis area. When he is not working or writing books, Paul enjoys playing softball in the summer and curling in the winter. His family also fosters rescue dogs.

Paul has earned the MCTIP certification in Business Intelligence from Microsoft.
