Matt Scott

Matt Scott is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and freelance videographer living in New York City. After growing up on the softshell crab-infested streets of Baltimore, Matt attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied under the likes of the legendary Stella Adler and William H. Macy. After knocking about the theater and sketch comedy world, Matt grabbed a camera and plunged headlong into the video world, creating comedy videos for Funny Or Die and NBC's DotComedy.

He is currently writing and directing The Spirit Seeker, an independent TV pilot starring Mary Birdsong (Reno 911, The Descendants), Stephen Root (News Radio, Office Space), Romy Rosemont (Glee), and Steve Agee (The Sarah Silverman Program).

Matt has also taught film and theater in New York to kids from a wide range of backgrounds. He is also a co-founder of ROARing Video, an NYC production company that creates business marketing videos.
