Jan McCourt

Jan McCourt is an Investment Banker turned Farmer and founder of Northfield Farm, a diversified farming business with its farming operation on the Rutland/Leicestershire border and outlets in London's Borough and Broadway Markets since their beginnings.

'Crushed: My NHS Summer' tells the story of Jan's near death when he was crushed under the wheels of his own tractor in th esummer of 2006.

Described by some as a 'love letter to the NHS', Jan's book has received a great deal of praise from the likes of the Independent, Nursing Times and BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live.
