Stephen Brader

Stephen R. Brader was a police officer in Philadelphia for thirteen years. He retired early and switched gears to work in high-end retail as a loss prevention specialist. He often regales family and friends with tales of his adventures, and misadventures, on the police force and in his current job.

Steve spent much of his leisure time during his childhood immersed in comic books. In fact, he often still enjoys his favorite comics when he isn’t reading horror and fantasy fiction, particulary by his favorite author, Stephen King. Steve tries to write stories that make you laugh and shudder with fear at the same time. He travels a lot for his day job, and the down time in airports and hotels are the fertile grounds for his active imagination.

Many of the heroes in Steve’s books are based on the personalities of his children and grandchildren. Steve’s primary goal is to tell stories that are enjoyable and easy to read. He hopes to generate emotion in his readers, whether it is a chill down their spine or a smile.

Steve currently resides in a suburb of Allentown, Pennsylvania with his wife Anna. Besides reading, his favorite pastime is entertaining (and spoiling) his grandchildren.
