Michael Hertel

I am Michael Hertel, born in Frohnau, which was a part of West-Berlin in the year 1954. I finished elementary school in Frohnau (Renée-Sintenis-Schule) and Highschool in Berlin-Tegel (Humboldt-Gymnasium). Later I finished an education as a journalist and started writing for papers, for example Berliner Morgenpost. Some years later I went to Hamburg going on writing for papers as Hamburger Abendblatt and Die WELT. In 1994 I set up for myself as a journalist and writer of novels and stories. I am married and have got two sons.
