Dr. Fred Thompson

Dr. Fred Thompson (Doctor of Ministry) is an ordained Assemblies of God minister, Bible teacher, educator and student of God's Word. He teaches classes and seminars on bible prophecy and other Bible-based topics.

Thompson's engineering, business, military (Navy chaplain), and church experience enables him to relate to regional and global current events.

Dr. Thompson enjoys writing in a variety of genres: autobiography, nonfiction, and fiction.

His autobiography, It's My Story and I'm sticking to It, surprisingly, was found interesting to more than just his own family. Initially, he wrote it to help his children learn of the path his life took from birth to his current age. Thompson's wife suggested the perfect closing quote from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings as Bilbo Baggins says: "And he lived happily ever after to the end of his days."

Thompson's non-fiction book, Spiritual Tsunami: Bible Prophecy and World Events are Converging addresses the juxtaposition of prophecy and current events from a Christian standpoint.

With the Storm series, Thompson moves into a new genre. Eye of the Storm, Book 1 of the Storm series, presents current events and plausible future events centered on a pre-tribulation Christian Rapture followed by the global aftermath.
