Jim Beckwith

Jim Beckwith is an alumnus of the University of New Orleans and Berklee College of Music. He has taught and played professionally (not always well), for over 30 years. Thousands of people ages 5 to 80+ have learned to play and understand guitar using the simple systems he developed. His teaching studio is currently located at C&M Music Center, Kenner, LA. He

is also reliving his youth, playing in a psychedelic rock band called the Hooligans and gigging occasionally in the New Orleans

area.
