Roaming Midsomer, the sequel to Chris Behan’s best selling Exploring Midsomer, is a collection of interesting walks and places to eat, based around the locations used in the TV series. Using their intimate knowledge of the subject, local photographer Chris Behan and outdoor writer Martin Andrew have created a book that takes the reader on walking tours of the real Midsomer—and is a must for all those who love this charming part of rural England.
Chris Behan was born on Merseyside, educated at Wirral Grammar School and the University of Liverpool where he obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering. He is now retired after a very successful career in engineering and executive recruitment. A Freeman of the City of London and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, his hobbies include photography and producing an annual film for his Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Haddenham and District. The Club, he maintains, is the real Rotary Club of Midsomer. He has lived in Midsomer for nearly 40 years.
