Craig Cherry

CRAIG CHERRY was born in San Angelo, Texas on September 27, 1950. He moved around a lot growing up as the son of an Air Force Lt. Colonel. He spent his early childhood in New Hampshire; Ankara, Turkey, and the upper peninsula of Michigan. After relocating to Miami, he started working while in high school playing bass guitar for local bands. He studied drama at Florida Atlantic University before becoming a full-time, professional musician/entertainer. He performed for over twenty years with a variety of groups and did nightclub shows, rock concerts, radio and television performances. After retiring from the road, he became an advertising liaison for a trade publication for creative professionals called Create Magazine. Over the years, he developed a unique style of storytelling and wrote "Tinsel Swain, an enchanted story poem". Next, he used his past experiences as a traveling musician to give a touch of reality to a superfairy tale about a 70's rock band. His novel is a sci-fi, fantasy, horror, comedy adventure titled The Day the Earth Rocked, aka Tinsel Swain and the Vampire Theatre. He also now produces animated music videos of his original songs under the name Blues Reaper.
