Johannes R. Malan

Johannes R. Malan (1966 - ) was born near Cape Town (South Africa).

Both his parents are from French Huguenot descent. He grew up in the district of Oudtshoorn (Little Karoo) and graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1993 with a Masters Degree in Clinical Pastoral Care.

During his studies he did numerous hours of pastoral care within mental health institutions and hospitals and received regular supervision to improve his pastoral skills.

He served as a minister till 2003 in a mainline Afrikaans speaking church in South Africa. During this time he practiced pastoral counseling regularly.

In 2008 he became minister of Unitarian Church of Cape Town and in 2017 a community minister for the same denomination. He is still serving in this capacity.

In 2018 he founded JRM Career Solutions to serve high caliber executives and professional to stand out, get hired, and be well.
