Mark A. Torgerson

Mark A. Torgerson (Ph.D., University of Notre Dame) is a full professor at Judson University, Elgin, Illinois, who teaches in the areas of theology, worship, and architecture. He has been exploring the relationship between the arts and Christian faith for more than twenty years as a theologian, painter, and pastor. The color and diversity of the material world brings him particular joy, in everything from exploring religious ruins in Istanbul to hiking in the Andes to wearing Jerry Garcia ties.
