I am a man of many hats. Novelist, poet, spoken word performer, martial artist, barista. CHARIVARI is my first novel and I'm very proud of it. I know, it's not de rigeur to applaud one's own work. But in the age of self-publishing, it certainly doesn't hurt! The novel was two years in the making. It was truly an organic process, with the circus stories coming first, then the through-line of the narrative to link the stories together. WORDBIRDS, my book of bird poems for young'ns came out a couple of years ago and has been delighting those who have read it ever since. It was written over the course of a summer in the countryside of Caledon, Ontario in Canada, where I live with my beautiful wife Uta and our two famous cats Franklin and Twiggy.
