Michael L. Ruffin

I am Michael Ruffin, veteran husband, father, pastor, teacher, preacher, writer, and blogger. My third grade teacher Mrs. Pitts wrote in my yearbook, "Mike, you are one of the reasons teaching is a pleasure." Author Brett Lott once said of me, "You know your way around a sentence." I think that the greatest movie of all time is "Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension" and that the Monkees deserve much more respect than they receive. I received my one and only athletic trophy for winning the batting championship in the Barnesville-Lamar County, Georgia Little League when I was 12 years old. I still have it.
