Liam Moore

Hi,

I'm William Moore, Liam to my friends. I live with my wife and co-author Beverley Moore in North Wiltshire along with five extraordinary and one miraculous cats. I am a registered nurse and work mostly supply shifts at our local hospital. Beverley teaches English.

When we met Beverley and I discovered a mutual interest in writing and decided to work together to become a husband and wife author team. 'Under a Ghostly Moon' is our first novel. It was originally published by Pegasus, Elliot Mackenzie on 'Vanguard Press' but our work commitments meant that we weren't able to commit the time required to promotion. The rights have now reverted to us and we are hoping that it will be more successful on Kindle.

The new Kindle release of 'Under a Ghostly Moon' is a hard re-edit of the original book so it should be a more comfortable read (and make more sense in a few places). It also has a few illustrations and a new afterword, explaining some of our sources of inspiration.

Our main inspiration for 'Moon' came about while I was living in Bristol, a wonderfully historical city which boasts many haunted pubs and possibly the most haunted hospital in England.

The second book in the Moon series, 'By the Dark of a Faerie Moon' was released on Kindle on 26th October 2013. It's set in and around Aberdeen and diverges a bit from the urban fantasy genre ('rural fantasy'?). It has a bit of everything; elves, fairies, zombies, archaeologists...

The third book of the Moon series is 'Captive of a Sorcerous Moon', which sees Jerry and his companions take on the mysterious S-Branch in rural Wales.

We have also written 'The Wolf Stone', the first novel in our series for older teens and young adults, the "Wolf Kin", which is also available on Kindle.

If you like our books tell your friends.
