William Gosling

I've had a varied life, at times an engineer, an academic, a theologian and a tycoon, but always a writer. Fifteen books I've published so far, mostly not fiction—at least they aren't meant to be. I wrote my first novel when I was seven years old (a tale of lust and passion among fisher folk), but sadly it was never published. Since then I have kept pegging away and now have five novels on Kindle and a few more on paper, as well as my scientific books, and the two on theology. In my years as a tycoon, chief technical officer of a multi billion dollar company, I travelled just about everywhere, so my fiction has an international flavour. I'm a slow writer because I keep having new bright ideas and re-drafting, but I do strive for well-crafted output.

I come from an eccentric sea-coast family. My grandfather was a professional smuggler with a pet elephant called Simla, and my father spent some time on a steam powered submarine. Myself, I am a completely normal left-handed dyslexic, and live in a six hundred year old inn just south of the magnificent city of Bath.
