James Bigmore

James Bigmore was born in Sutton, England and grew up in the small Surrey village of Woodmansterne.

He is married and has three sons who grew up listening to stories about Thomas the Tank Engine, the wonderful tales from Roald Dahl and the timeless 'Just So' stories by Rudyard Kipling. All stories were told with suitable sound effects and character voices, the more bizarre the better!

Whilst whiling away the hours in airports waiting for flights, James started to write the Windy the Worm stories so that his sons had a least some benefit from his travelling.

Now his own sons have grown up, James has decided to publish the Windy stories so that other children can benefit from them too.

Captivating and funny, the Windy stories are laced with hidden metaphors that will delight you with their meaning, as much as the stories and pictures will enchant your children.
