~~A long time ago my father handed me "Slan" by A. E. van Vogt. I finished that book, asked for more, and he opened the door to his library of science fiction. It was a small room with a big collection of paperbacks carefully arranged on shelves he had built himself. I read them all, from Isaac Asimov to H.G. Wells, and have wanted to explore the galaxy ever since. Sadly, I have to settle for writing about it.
~~The hero of my first book is Pharaoh Farrow and he is human. He would rather talk than fight, but if forced to fight he will use his fists, his wits, and sometimes a gun. He does not own a magic wand. He has not yet met a dragon or a mage but is willing to admit he hasn't seen everything.
