Francisco Angulo

Francisco Angulo de Lafuente was born in Madrid in 1976. He published his first novel, The Relic, in 2006, and has since developed one of the most prolific careers in contemporary indie fiction. With nearly forty published novels — translated into ten languages including English, Spanish, German, Czech, Slovak, Indonesian, Somali and others — and an average reader rating of 4.8 out of 5, his readership stretches from Madrid to Manhattan, Manila to Mexico City.

His fiction moves fluidly between genres without losing its voice. In gothic mystery, The Vampire of the Beresford follows three characters locked in a dangerous psychological triangle on Manhattan's Upper West Side, while The Obituarist explores grief and obsession through a man who writes the dead back into the world.
