Adam Benton

Adam Benton is an experienced traveler in Central and South America who has survived everything from smelly hostels to being murdered. He is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina and has also studied at La Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología in San Jose, Costa Rica. He has lived many years in Costa Rica as well as Peru and traveled extensively through out the neighboring countries. He is now working on a book and website about Panama. He is not a fan of package tours and instead travels with his computer a small bag and no plans. While traveling he is always in search of the most enjoyable food and beers and interesting cultural sites, especially ruins be they Aztec, Incan or what have you. Whether he is adventuring around Nicaragua in an old school bus or racing along the coast in a boat taxi to a nearby island Adam is happiest when traveling. He has traveled since he was a child and has no plans to stop anytime soon. He is now living in Florida working on plans for his next adventure. In his spare time he writes and goes fishing out on the Gulf of Mexico. He enjoys good rum and ice cold beer especially when accompanied by good music or beautiful women. In addition to the previously mentioned schools he is also a graduate of Parkwood High School and Parris Island. Good friends know him as Bowser.
