Born on a small island in the northeast United States called Manhattan, John Urbancik has been writing stories that blend genres for years. Sometimes dark, funny, mysterious, or frightening, usually in the realms of fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror (fairy tales and ghost stories), they are often richly textured, beautifully written, and extraordinary exercises of imagination.
