Deborrah is a pioneer in the online dating advice arena with 20 years of relationship advice experience. She is the first African American female to establish an online advice presence, which she maintains to this day. A creative visionary, she also created the first site on the web which focuses on black and interracial relationships (AskHeartBeat.Com). Decades ago she bravely addressed social issues others in her field were afraid to such as interracial dating and racial prejudice, sexism in relationships, single parents and romance, etc.
The author of more than 500 articles, she is most known for the highly controversial blog post which set the web, magazines, radio stations and even CNN on fire in 2010 "The Black Church - How Black Churches Keep African American Women Single and Lonely." Her 2012 book "Where Women Pray and Men Prey" examines the behaviors of spiritual leaders in our nation's black churches. A former fitness professional, Deborrah penned "Improve Your Assets" in 2013, an ebook which focuses on reshaping the glutes and problem lower body areas for men and women.
After changing her diet to vegan, Deborrah's latest project WHY VEGAN IS THE NEW BLACK, was written to prove that meat and dairy free foods can be as scrumptious as anything else. Her goal was to promote plant based vegan nutrition by sharing revamped family secret 'soul food' recipes, as well as typical American favorites, along with Asian and Mexican recipes learned while growing up in the multicultural environment of San Francisco.
