Marie Garcia

Marie was born in Modesto, California in September of 1981 and raised in Vancouver, Washington. She graduated from Prairie High School in Brush Prairie, Washington in June of 2000. She graduated from Everest College (formerly Western Business College)in Vancouver,Washington in January of 2006.

She was raised by her maternal grandparents and has four half sisters and three half brothers.

Marie loves country music, 80s hair bands, and some alternative rock. She enjoys reading the works of Laurell K. Hamilton (whom she had the pleasure of meeting in November of 2007) , Kay Hooper, Iris Johansen, Janet Evanovich (whom she also had the pleasure of meeting a few years ago), and James Patterson. She loves horror, comedy, suspense, action, and romantic movies. Marie also enjoys watching The Simpsons, Once Upon a Time, and Revenge.

Marie is a lover of animals and the outdoors (though she rarely goes out), and is addicted to computer games (The Sims 2), and the Internet. She also loves Strawberry Shortcake (silly isn't it?), and her favorite Disney Princesses are Ariel and Cinderella.

Marie loves spending time on the computer and helping her fellow writers out. She works part time as an editor, and the only payment she takes is a special thanks if the work is published and the gratitude of the person she has helped.

Marie married in the fall of 2010 and they reside in Vancouver, Washington with Marie's family.
