A V Walters

A.V. Walters was born in Canada, to American parents. (And after thirty years in California, she no longer says 'eh' at the end of her sentences.) After several years at a Sonoma County chicken farm, where she began writing, she relocated to Northern Michigan. She's an ardent advocate of "bucket farming" and growing one's own food. Her debut novel, "The Emma Caites Way," won the BAIPA Best Literary Fiction Award. Her newest book, The Gift of Guylaine Claire, a nod to her Canadian roots, was released July 1, 2012 by Two Rock Press.
