About the author Tom (TJ) Jones
From an iceman to a writer, no one would have believed that, especially Mrs. Anderson my English teacher in high school (way back in the mid 60's). 1960's not 1860's... Hey, I'm not that old. I worked the ice dock from 5AM to 8AM every day providing the oil field workers with ice for their water cans while my dad delivered ice to the cafe's, schools and homes and apartments who had ice boxes. Thus, from iceman to writer.
I had a blessed life even though I was 51% wrong on my decisions. But the other 49% allowed me to be very successful in the business world advancing to a Director position with the #1 and oldest 100 year old company in their industry. And then a VP of a multi-national corporation. Even though the VP job was short-live. I wrote about that experience in my first book "A Career Devotional".
I'm really in the business of helping people enhance their life at home and at work based on a ton of experiences and 70+ years of living. So as an author, former professional national speaker and all around "good guy", because I always like to put a humorous spin on real life situations. I try to help people make changes in their life to find success and happiness. And that doesn't necessarily mean success financially. He helps people learn to use their head, heart and soul in everything they do. And believe me, that's not easy.
TJ's first book "A Career Devotional" was written to inspire and motivate people to face the many challenges a career often brings. He also provided a 10 week course for faith based organizations.
