I've written many technical articles in trade journals over the years, enjoying every bit of it. Recently I started writing fiction. What drives me are life experiences and a deep-seated need to laugh. People have said I have a sharp wit and good sense of humor.

My first book, Idiotville (2012) is an adult satire. Events in the book may seem bizarre and ridiculous, but most of the chapters are based on real life events, either published in the media or that I have witnessed myself. I go into that in more detail in the foreword. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself.

Camo the Wonderdog and the Third Little Pig (2018) is a children's book I wrote at the behest of a grandson. I had to put my own twist into it, so it came out, well a little twisted. Not so much, but enough so that Mom and Dad will get a kick out of it, too. I drew my own illustrations.

The Adventures of Camo the Wonderdog - The Clavitz Calamity (2018) is another children's book, also to meet the demands of a publisher... wait I mean another grandson. This has everything - kids, a dinosaur, space ships, time travel, aliens, super powers, and of course a dog. There was a lot of artwork to do. I did that on my own, too.

I have a new short story anthology, Flights of Fantasy, coming up in 2019. Most of the stories are of a more serious, philosophical note, but I managed to wedge in some funnies, too.
