A well-known psychologist, the author chose a pen name when starting out to write her successful Mackenzie Murder Mysteries series. She shares more than just her profession with her protagonist, army-psychologist-turned-Beefeater John Mackenzie. In addition to a love of Asian cuisine and Darjeeling tea, the two are united by a passion for gardening and solving puzzles. For more than ten years, she has been writing cozy mysteries - 11 to date - that showcase her favorite places in the UK. Although the books are self-contained, it is recommended to start with John's first case, “Death in the Tower of London.”
