Christopher Butler

Hi, I'm Christopher.

As I write this, I'm sitting at my desk at Newfangled — the place where I work. One of our core values here is to maintain an ongoing cycle of learning and teaching. I'm thrilled to be able to spend much of my time sharing what I've learned about the Web with my colleagues and our clients. That, by the way, is what my book is really all about. It's much more about the why than the how, though there's plenty of how in there, too.

Besides my book, I've written many articles about design and the Web for Newfangled, PRINT, HOW, Smashing Magazine, and elsewhere, including my personal blog. I've also given talks on this stuff at the HOW Interactive Design Conference, the Recourses New Business Summit, the UNC School of Public Health, AIGA Raleigh, and the Carolina Adobe User Group.
