Mia K. Markey

Mia K. Markey grew up on a small farm in the American midwest. After graduating from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, she obtained her B.S. in computational biology. Professor Markey earned her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Duke. She lives with her husband and four children in Austin, Texas.
