Flo Barnett

Since retiring, Flo Barnett has written hilarious tales for, and sometimes based on, the real-life antics of her seven energetic grandchildren whom she loving refers to as "Grammy's Gang."

Also Ms. Barnett has published,'Together In Peace And Harmony', which includes "Preschool Friends A-Z Around The World" (ages 2-5). introducing young children to cultural and racial diversity. It is Ms. Barnett's belief that when little ones are exposed to difference in a positive setting, they will naturally embrace rather than fear it. The second entry,"If I Were You And You Were Me!" geared for ages 3-6, focuses on multicultural and multi-generational aspects of modern day families.

Finally Flo has published nostalgic novellas geared for ages 9-99. Serious topics such as abuse, bullying and loss of a loved one are explored in a sensitive manner in order to empower her readers to either face adversity with courage and conviction, or heal memories of the past.

During her professional career, Ms. Barnett was a preschool administrator and daycare provider. She also taught kindergarten and elementary school for many years.

Flo lives near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her hubby, Barry, and her dog, Shadow.
