If I weren't allergic to ink, I could honestly say writing is in my blood. I've never written a short letter.--So, saying I've written seven novels: four in the Space Darlings series and two in the Blue Wizard's series.I have completed a new novel: Love's Legacy A Romantic Intrigue by Barbara Phillips.

Years ago I wrote a short story that won honorable mention in an L. Ron Hubbard new writers' contest. It told how the battle of the galaxy was won with a chocolate cake.

I attended a summer workshop ["The Road to Science Fiction"] taught by Jim (James) Gunn, Kansas University professor and science fiction author. His last book, was published in 2013 when he was 90. I met and visited with him at the LoneStar5 International Convention of Science Fiction in San Antonio.

Over the years, I have written scholarly essays and papers, but I find the greatest pleasure in using my active imagination.
