Jo Sparkes

I write character-driven fiction rooted in place, memory, and history. My work begins not with plots, but with voices — people who arrive fully formed and insist on being heard. I don’t invent lives; I scribe them. Stories of ordinary people in remarkable moments, shaped by the times, the places, and the quiet choices that echo across time.

Truly, I scribe to thrive.
