David Tank

David Tank is a writer and photographer currently living in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where he teaches writing and mass communication at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Prior to becoming a full-time teacher, he was a newspaper and magazine editor, worked as senior writer for a major fraternal organization and directed the communication efforts of several not-for-profit organizations.

His life-long interest in 3-D photography led to the publication of "Wisconsin Wildflowers in 3D" (2011) and "The Magic of 3D Photography" (2012). He is an award-winning member of the National Stereoscopic Association and a collector of vintage stereoscopes and 3D cameras.

David's children's books include "Half Pint," "The Lumberjack and the Eagle" (2013) and "Secret Santa: The Mystery of the Stereoscope" (2015). The author is also an accomplished musician and songwriter.
