Ibigbolade Simon Aderibigbe received his Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion, from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Currently he teaches African Religion and the Religions of Africa in the Diaspora in the Department of Religion and African Studies Institute at the University of Georgia, Athens. Previously, Dr. Aderibigbe taught philosophy of Religion, African Religion and other aspects of Religion at the Lagos State University, Nigeria, where he also served as chair of the Department of Religions. Ibigbolade Aderibigbe has written and co- edited numerous books. His articles have appeared in referred journals and edited volumes. His Latest books are: Abortion, Religious belief and medical Ethics: Historical and Philosophical Perspective, published in 2011, and a co-edited volume- Continental Complexities: A Multidisciplinary Introduction to Africa, published in 2012.
