Kelli Pearson

Kelli Pearson is an award-winning children’s math author on a mission to help creative, visual, and “non-mathy” kids fall in love with math.

With over 30 years of teaching experience, she brings a deep understanding of struggling math learners—and the belief that every child can become confident with the right kind of support.

As a child who once felt “terrible at math,” Kelli now teaches through pictures, patterns, stories, and play. Her approach helps kids connect math to real life so it finally makes sense.

Kelli creates joyful, imaginative math resources—including games, art-based activities, and real-world explorations—that help children see math as meaningful, creative, and fun. Her book Kitten Math 2 received the Mom’s Choice Award for excellence in children’s educational materials.

When she’s not writing or designing math adventures, Kelli can be found caring for foster kittens or relaxing in a backyard hammock with her own fur babies.
