Michael Zarocostas

Michael Zarocostas is a lawyer and an award winning #1 bestselling author who lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife Lianna, their amazing kids Vesta and Roman, and two rescued cats Vito and Luca.

Michael's maternal great grandfather (Federico Pizzurro) was a capo in the mafia in Sicily. Michael's grandfather (Michael Pizzurro) was next in line to become a mafia don in Sicily, but he left the Old Country as a young man to get out of the "family business" and start a new life in America. Thus, Michael Zarocostas has a keen interest in stories involving Italian-Americans, organized crime, and heroes like The Anti-Godfather, Detective Lieutenant Joe Petrosino.

In 2016, Michael will be featured as an on-camera expert on the TV show "Lawmen" produced by The Discovery Channel/American Heroes Network.

He is represented by the Ann Rittenberg Literary Agency, which represents world renowned authors such as Dennis Lehane and Paul Doiron.
