Kosa Ely

Personally I find being a children’s author, artist, and storyteller incredibly rewarding. I learn so much from children and do my best to create books they will love and cherish.

I've always felt a kinship with animals and native peoples, and I believe this comes through in each of my books. I've lived and worked in several countries, giving me time to explore their histories and cultures.

My newest book, The Jaguar's Story, is inspired by the Amazon rainforest, its people, and the pressing need to save jaguars and other wildlife from extinction.

When I'm not writing or traveling I enjoy escaping into books and sharing in others' adventures.
