JoEllen Claypool

JoEllen Claypool is the author of ten books and contributing author to four more. Besides writing, she is a public speaker, book coach, editor, ghostwriter, and is the cofounder of ICAN (Idaho Creative Authors Network). This group consists of four authors who facilitate writing events to bring information and encouragement to new authors as well as seasoned authors. She lives in Idaho and is the wife of a country preacher, mother to seven, and grandmother to seventeen and loving every minute of it!

JoEllen's nonfiction works include A Realist's Guide to Being a Pastor's Wife, The Secrets Behind the Eyes, Are You on the Verge of a Spiritual Heart Attack?, and Realistic Tips to Being a Pastor's Wife. She is also a contributing author of An Eclectic Collage Volume 2: Relationships of Life, An Eclectic Collage Volume 3: Demystifying Death and An Eclectic Collage Volume 4: For the Love of Animals all of which she shares her poetry and short stories. The original ICAN founders also wrote the Creative Authors' Workbook Journal.

She has written and illustrated two children's books, A Battle for Christmas and Follow Me Hummingbird and has finished three books in her children's fiction Triumphant Trio Series, Truth in Troy Valley, Faith in Troy Valley, and Loyalty in Troy Valley.

Her most published work is her journal (available with three different covers), If Words Were Falling Down Like Rain where she shares her own quotes as well as some thoughtful prompts creating the perfect opportunity for the reader to develop their own writing craft.

JoEllen loves making the most of every opportunity when it comes to playing with words and enjoys helping other authors of all ages achieve their dreams as a published author.
