David S. Cantor MD was born in Argentina. He graduated from Buenos Aires Medical School in 1959. He then trained in the United States and became a gastroenterologist. He did clinical research while working in private practice.
Has been an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UC Davis and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at USC. He served as President of the Medical Staff at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA. He is a past President of the Southern california Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and The Pasadena Medical Society. He has published a 2 Volume Text of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, contributed to other books, and published 50 scientific papers.
He decided to reach the general public to enlightened them about critical health issues for which he wrote: The Book of Good Health.
