Riach Wilson

Riach Wilson is the pen-name David Robertson uses for this genre of fiction. David also writes non-fiction and fiction under his own name, and comic fiction under the pen-name of JB Duncan.

David's father was an internationally known musician and his early memories are full of his father's concerts, TV and radio appearances. In his teenage years he decided that show-bizz was not for him and explored a variety of 'ordinary' jobs, some of which sound quite exotic - such as working in a bamboo factory - but the reality was much more mundane (the bamboo factory, for example, manufactured drain rods).

After a brief foray into teaching, he trained for ordination in the Church of England.

He enjoys reading (and writing) fiction of all kinds and, as Riach Wlson, writes 'romance wrapped in reality'. 'After all,' he says, 'what's the point of a romantic story if it could never, actually happen - and what's reality without a little bit of romance?'
