Celestia Whitehead

Celestia Oborn Whitehead grew up on an Alaskan homestead and has resided in Utah, California, Montana and Idaho (USA,) and traveled internationally. She loves to paint a record of her journeys in her sketch books. Widowed in 1997, she began teaching Art and English (BA from BYU, 1971) and finished raising the last of her 12 children alone. She has won awards for her poetry and art, and published in magazines and newspapers. She currently lives in Draper, Utah, USA, with her husband, Wally Stewart. When Winter Comes is her first novel (Book 1 in a series).
