Bodo Manstein

Bodo Manstein (born in 1962 in Mülheim an der Ruhr) grew up in the Bergische Land region and spent a lot of time on Baltrum. This is where his love of the sea came about, which decisively influenced his choice of job. After leaving school, Bodo Manstein joined the Navy in 1982. His path there led him to Sylt on numerous occasions, where he lived with his family from 1994 to 2002. Therefore, setting his regional crime novel on the “Queen of the North Sea” was a personal concern to Bodo Manstein. Today the author lives with his family near the city of Kiel.
