Nancy Chapel Eberhardt

Nancy Chapel Eberhardt is currently an educational consultant. She has had a long career as teacher, administrator, diagnostician, and curriculum developer.

Her interest in meeting the needs of all students led to the collaboration with Joanne Allain to write RtI: The Forgotten Tier. In this book, Nancy and Joanne translate the intent of RtI (Response to Instruction and Intervention) into practice emphasizing the importance of Tier 1.

Most recently, her special interest in literacy, particularly vocabulary development, led to the creation of What’s Different…What’s the Same. This collaborative work with Jamie Moore Chapel, has demonstrated that a picture is definitely worth a thousand words!

Nancy lives in Connecticut with her husband and her dog, Bear.
