About the author:

Ron Washburn grew up in the wild lands of the Jornada del Muerto in southern New Mexico. He raised horses, tended his windmill, and ran his ranch until he graduated from New Mexico State University. He's been writing since he was old enough to read. His stories range from westerns to science fiction and fantasy, but there's a twist. Each book is only a small slice of the larger story he's writing that encompasses all of them. They are all related in a mult-genre odyssey. Each book is a separate and complete story, so it is possible to pick one up and read it as a stand-alone. However, if you read more than one in his collection, which he calls his "Alternate Universe" series, you will begin to see how they are connected.
