Sam Hazelrig

Sam Hazelrig:(1930-)was born in Birmingham,Alabama. Graduated from Auburn University. and USAF flight school class 52H. Trained in flying T6 prop,T33A Jet Trainer and F80 jet fighters. After tour in the USAF accepted position as Aerospace Engineer at Redstone Arsenal/Marshall Space Flight Center under the direction of Dr. Werher Von Braun, Karl Heinberg and Berhard Tessman. Specific duty was support and/or directing component test of Jupiter, Jupiter-C

and saturn liquid rocket engines (H-1/F-1). Test Director of all solid rocket motors for the US Army Missile Command before and after Army relinquished the space programs to MSFC in early 1960.

I have been writing poetry, short stories and novels and laying them aside due to my engineering workload for the past 50 yrs and or since the death of my agent in 1990.
