Lewis B. Pantlin

My name is Lewis Pantlin. I have worked as a musician (singer and piano player) in a rock and roll band, an engineer, a life guard, a draughtsman, a security guard, a refuse collector and many other occupations.

When I was a child, my grandfather used to make up bedtime stories for me and my brother. In later years I did the same for my children and then my grandchildren. My daughter Belinda suggested that I write them down. This I did. I also illustrated them. I wanted to encourage my children and grandchildren to read, as my brother and I did from an early age. We learnt at least as much from our reading as we were taught at school.

All the stories have a strong moral, as it is never too early to teach and to learn right and wrong.
