Hi, I’m Mikaela Vincent, just an ordinary girl with — yes, you guessed it! — an extraordinary God, who set my feet on an incredible adventure with Him!

I grew up helping my missionary parents in the jungles and poverty-stricken neighborhoods of a Third World country, which was a great place to gain God’s heart for the nations. In fact, I began free lance writing from there as a teen, majored in journalism in college, and then worked as a writer and photographer for Christian news publications, until the Lord called my husband and me to serve Him in a dark area of the world where missionaries are prohibited, few have heard of Christ and Christians are persecuted.

That was the greatest adventure of all! Imagine raising your kids in a place where you’re constantly under surveillance and at any moment the government could raid your home and arrest you. They did, indeed, come after us not long ago. We snuck away in the night, before they got there, and some dear prayer warriors prayed us through security checks, until God got us safely out of the country.

Now, in addition to all the More Than A Conqueror Books the Lord keeps asking me to write, he led me to open a Prayer Wall, where Christians from nearly 120 countries gather daily to pray through the news for the nations (and our own hearts, too!) to awaken to Christ’s love. Come join us!

We also work with immigrants, do counseling and help teams and churches catch a heart for missions and raise children up to run with passion for the Lord.

My heart is to see God’s people walk in oneness with Him and each other. With that theme in mind, He has helped me lead spiritual retreats, parenting groups, and write more than 100 Bible studies, novels, prayer journals and Pure-As-Gold Seal books for all ages.

We had to learn a thing or two (okay, MANY things) from the Lord in order to survive. He taught us countless strategies for helping marriages and teams work together as one (See "Dare to Become a Kingdom Culture Leader"), overcoming anxiety (See “Delight to be a Woman of Wonder”) and fear (See “Out You Go, Fear!” for ages 4-8), conquering the enemy in the battlefield of the mind (See “Dare to Be a Mighty Warrior.”)
