M. E. Franco

M. E. Franco was born and raised in the great valley of Northern California, not far from the gold rush towns of the foothills. She grew up surrounded by stories, television shows, and movies about the wild west. Many of those stories were told by her grandparents, who had come to California from the coal mines of Illinois and the devastated farmlands in Oklahoma. M. E. always loved stories, and that translated into a love affair with reading and writing. Rarely seen without a book in hand, she started college as an English major, focusing on creative writing, poetry, and literature. Even though she switched her major to psychology, M. E. continued writing poetry and short stories. A romantic at heart, M. E. took her love of wild west and her fascination with the paranormal and began writing romance and adventure stories based on tales she grew up with. M. E. continues to live in California with her husband and children. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, cycling, music, coffee and chocolate (not in that order or chocolate would be first).
