J.G. Karson

J.G. Karson always had passion for writing although never looked to writing as a profession. College, marriage, children, pets, along with an enjoyable career has kept J.G. Karson occupied. Through his education he was often praised by educators and piers for his creative writing skills and wrote his first book while studying Elementary Education; a children's book he wrote for his preschool class. J.G. Karson was an educator for several years as his first college degree, from The Community College of Vermont, focused around Early Childhood Education. He was a head teacher at the preschool level for several years, also working with school age children during the summer months. He returned to college at The University of Vermont in pursuit of another degree, graduating with a Major on the Arts, Computer Graphic's and a Minor in Computer Science. For the last twelve years he's worked at a Vermont based software company where he presents the application to prospects, leads state and regional user groups as well as the primary designer for the company. He manages the visual side of the software and all of the marketing and advertising design as well.

J.G. Karson has started several books through the years but in the summer of 2011 he was inspired by his children and the children in his neighborhood with their love of Star Wars. His inclusion in their daily battles triggered a story and he began writing The Force. His love of the story kept him motivated to spend any free time he could writing.
